I have both Reason 2.0 and the newest version of Garage Band. What
program would be better for me to use to create the hight quality music
productions/recording. I know this is a basic question, but it would be
interesting to hear opinions.
This is a question I posed on kvraudio.
More thoughts on the matter......
"Yes, I have noticed that reason gives me very tight control over every
note and sound, and I like that better for writing music. I just wish
you could record on Reason too. Then it would really be the bomb.
As it is, I usually export to Garage band to add real instruments and voice."
As it is, Reason is a closed program (you can't record real instruments), and garage band is an open program (You can record live instruments.)
Soon, I think the gap will be closed, and Garage Band will be as good as any pro audio program out there. As it is, all these programs run on the same computers anyway.
