Here is the man who put the double neck Gibson on the map. Alex Lifeson used on on Xanadu and Steve Howe used one on Starship Trooper. But in the beginning, there was Stairway to Heaven.

Here is some background on this classic guitar. It is called the EDS-1275, and was originally released way back in 1958.

This contrast is quite funny. Here is Elvis playing one in Spinout, one of his many movies in the 1960's. This guitar was also used by Steve Howe and is actually a 6 string base on top.
